Microsoft Security Essentials wins first round
ByMuch to the amazement of everyone, Microsoft’s new security software actually performed better than expected. Who knew?
The security testing firm, AV-Test conducted their own review of Microsoft’s new software and determined it to effectively detect and remove nearly 3,200 viruses, bot Trojans and worms. We’re a little bit in disbelief ourselves.
Unfortunately, the beta testing period has ended. We believe the official release of the software will coincide with the launch of Windows 7.
Bottom.Paratus: We’re cautiously optimistic about Security Essentials. Microsoft may finally release a quality security application for their operating systems. If you ask us, it’s about time.
