Mozilla releases Firefox 3.7 mockups

Here are some initial brainstorming mockups for the next version of Firefox. It looks like they’re taking a little from Google Chrome by making the tabs look more like tabs and adding a tools/bookmark bar.
Firefox has lagged behind other browsers in appearance so it seems as though the they’re trying to catch up by slimming down the user interface & prettying up everything else. We’re not complaining, but we hope they focus on speed & security as well.
Keep in mind, this is all strictly preliminary and nothing is final. The browser will probably change dramatically by the final release. However, we’re kinda impressed with these first screenshots.
