Sync your bookmarks in Chrome for extra flavor!

By novo

chrome And why shouldn’t you add some bookmarky zest? Firefox users have been doing it for several months. Clearly, this is not for amateur chefs!

In their latest installment of web-browser-feature-catchup, the developers of Chromium finally announced the ability to sync your bookmarks across computers using Google Chrome.

Unfortunately, it’s a little more complicated than that. You’ll need to get the latest Dev Version of Chrome. To activate this feature, you must launch Google Chrome with a dash of tech skills. You’ll need to right-click your Chrome shortcut, select Properties, then add –enable-sync after chrome.exe” in the Target line.

Once this is done though, deliciousness ensues. After you restart Chrome, click the tool Wrench and select ‘Sync my bookmarks.’

You’re now officially syncing your bookmarks across computer lines using your Google account and that, friends, is no sloppy hamburger.

Bottom.Paratus: This feature is clearly a tinch more complicated than Firefox’s Weave, though it’s certainly a step in the right direction. No need to worry though! We’re sure this will be made standard in future builds of Chrome.
