Say no to drugs! With a Windows 7 Restore Disc
ByYou may not realize it now but your brand new laptop probably doesn’t include an operating system restore disc. Quite frankly, that really chaps our rears. How many times have you been computing along when all of a sudden you get this crazy error message that says you’re now addicted to Meth and need to reinstall Windows.
“That’s preposterous!” you say. “Well, I guess I’ll just do what it says.”
But wait.. You can’t find a reinstall disc! What do you do now??
Most people would probably panic. Fortunately, you’re not most people because you’ve got this handy article to prepare yourself for such a dreadful day.
- The first thing you need to do is grab yourself a blank writeable DVD or CD and throw it right in your CD/DVD ROM drive. Windows 7 makes the rest very simple.
- Click the Start Menu and type the word “Backup” (without the quotes) in the search bar.
- Next, click the link that says “Create a System Repair Disc”.
- Finally, select the appropriate backup drive and click “Create Disc”.
Now, when that fateful day arrives and your computer asks you to insert your Windows 7 System Repair Disc, you’ll have it handy to stick it to the man.
Ain’t you somethin’ special? You’re officially prepared for the worst AND you’re no longer addicted to meth. It’s a win-win really.
