No, it’s not for women’s menstrual cycles like they want you to believe. It’s a brand new computer/e-reader/mobile device/piece of awesome.
The Good News
It’s pretty yummy. Starting at $499, we think it will probably be worth every penny. You’ll be able to (attempt to) get yours in approximately 60 days. However, it may be pretty tough to find one immediately after launch.

HP Slate Notebook
We feel this could come in handy for folks on the go… or just plain lazy people. No need to open that pesky laptop anymore! This comes as bad news for porn addicts. Gone are the days of slamming your laptop shut as you hear your grandma walking down the stairs.
Not much is known about the HP’s new Slate notebook. We do know that it will sport Microsoft Windows and there’s a Google Android prototype in the works. Either way, geeks will drool.
A Dedicated Twitter Gadget. The world can end now.
Posted by: | CommentsAre you ridiculously addicted to Twitter? Do you crave a device that looks like a phone but can’t do anything except tweet?? We sure don’t! But for those of you crazy enough to pay 100 dollars for a twitter-only device, there’s TwitterPeek!

This little device allows you to utilize Twitter in almost every way. Neat… But! Just about every smart phone in the world is able to use Twitter, and most of them have their own dedicated apps. So it seems silly to buy a phone dedicated to twittering. Maybe we’re just getting old and don’t see the value?
Need to charge your USB device? Plug ‘er into the wall!
Posted by: | CommentsWhy waste your time with a million adapters and last century’s electric outlets when you can plug your iPhone or Blackberry into a USB Wall Outlet!?

Honestly though, we can’t understand why this wasn’t invented sooner. The mobile industry is moving towards standard micro-USB cables. It seems only natural to outfit our homes with wall outlets for them!

soo… we’ll let you know when we hear something..
Meanwhile, be sure to check out this decent router and stay as far away as possible from this one!
A router stuck in Purgatory

It’s not bad. It could be better. It could be worse. Quite frankly, it’s so-so.
We can tell you one thing, it’s one heck of a baptized baby compared to our previous routing experience.
Just before we lost all hope, the Netgear WNR834 RangeMax NEXT Wireless-N Router happened to be sitting next to our returned abomination. So we thought we’d give the world of wireless one more try before we all quit life.
A router made straight from HELL

We’ve experienced a plethora of networking headaches in our day, but nothing prepared us for this. Somewhere in the fires of Hell, the Linksys WRT110 RangePlus Wireless N Router was crafted to make normal tech-savvy humans go completely insane. In fact, you may need to be medicated after experiencing this awfulness.
To be thorough, we gave it a heavy duty inspection in the novo-lab. Immediately upon installation, we wanted to throw it against the wall. Setup was incredibly frustrating as it limits your configuration options. Once we finally got it installed, we ran into more issues. It was impossible to connect more than one device at the same time. As soon as a second device attempted to link to the router, the connection was lost for ALL devices. We thought it might be a configuration error so we checked and re-checked the settings but noooo, they were set perfectly. Apparently this little guy is only into monogamous relationships.

Redfly Companion turns your smartphone into a netbook… sorta
Posted by: | CommentsSince obesity seems to be a rising epidemic worldwide, surely it was only a matter of time before someone invented a way to make your tiny smartphone magically become larger. Really though, who wants to spend a half an hour typing on your phone, when you could spend 5 minutes doing the same thing on a keyboard? Well! Do we have unhealthy news for you! Read More→
